What is Global Cyber Challenge – Peace-a-thon 2017?
Cyber Peace Foundation (CPF) and Policy Perspectives Foundation (PPF) invites applications for the Global Cyber Challenge – Peace-a-thon 2017 in collaboration with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeiTY) and National Critical Information Infrastructure Protection Center (NCIIPC). The main objective behind this is to enable and empower the cyber security and is organizing at the Global Cyber Challenge at the Global Conference on Cyber Space (GCCS). There are two challenges Global Cyber Challenge and National Cyber Challenge.
Who can apply for this scholarship ?
- This challenge is open to all.
- Any individuals or teams having a maximum of 3 members.
How can you apply ?
The application can be done online by following these steps:
Step 1: Read the details from here.
Step 2: To fill the form, click here.
Step 3: There are 13 problem statements, choose anyone and click to participate.
Step 4: Now Register/Login to MyGov platform to participate.
Step 5: Fill all the details and a video of maximum 3 minutes should be uploaded on www.youtube.com and the link should be shared while filling the application form.
Step 6: If submitted in a group, verify all the fields and about the team members before submitting the form.
Step 7: A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email id.
Terms and Conditions
There are two challenges:
- Global Cyber Challenge: Participants will render an effective solution in the form of an app/project.
- National Cyber Challenge: Participants have to first qualify an eligibility test and then will take care of the technical tasks like bug hunting, secure coding, network implementation and forensics etc.
